From cyberbullying to international cyberattacks, security breaches, identity theft, and interpersonal crime in cyberspace, online threats continue to grow. Despite increasing concern over technology's role in online victimization, many countries are still under-resourced to effectively combat emerging cybercrime threats. There is a global need for enhanced training in both cybercriminal behavior and advanced information technologies, including Artificial Intelligence.
Focusing on the latest digital capabilities for a safer cyberspace, the CIC Fundamentals Training Series is designed to introduce critical topics such as 4IR Technologies & Cyberspace, Digital Assets, Cyberthreats, Digital Forensics, and Mobile Evidence. This series also explores how cybersecurity can foster effective guardianship and preventive measures. This training is driven by the Center for CIC's commitment to supporting African efforts in creating a safer online environment for future generations.
